Economic Development Tackles Labour Force Shortages

Issues around significant labour force shortages have gained the attention of BC Economic Development offices and the Provincial Government.  To address the issues,  the attraction of new investment and skilled workers through immigration has been prioritised between BC communities and the Province.

Together the group has created an investment partnership called "Linx BC - BC's Economic Development Team" that has developed an investment attraction strategy that includes a greater presence at immigration attraction events and the creation of a streamlined marketing message.
