Small Farm Development Program - Register Now!


North Island College and the Comox Valley Economic Development Society have partnered with the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC to offer a series of short workshops aimed towards local farmers and individuals involved in small-plot agriculture.

The seven series program has been designed to help to build the capacity of Comox Valley growers to meet and profit from the increased demand for local products.

Instructor Bio:

Gary Rolston is a Professional Agrologist with over 20 years experience working with farmers and agribusiness on the North Island. Gary’s consulting business, From the Ground Up, has been involved in farm business planning and other agriculture related business projects over the past 10 years. Prior to that he worked as the District Agriculturist for the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands in Courtenay.
