The Comox Valley’s expanding agricultural and culinary sectors are offering another unique tasting event

Together with Blue Moon Estate Winery and Beaufort Vineyard and Estate Winery, Dark Side Chocolates is presenting an educational evening to help participants discover how cocoa content and origins affects a chocolates’ flavour and how to pair different chocolates with wine.

"This is an opportunity to learn and taste the complexities of chocolate and wine and how they complement each other," says Jan Peavoy, the owner and chocolatier at Dark Side Chocolates, a boutique chocolate shop on Cumberland's main street. "It's like a wine tasting event, but better because there's chocolate too." Attendees can also expect to enjoy Natural Pastures Cheese and Bean Around the World coffee.
