Comox Valley Economic Development's 2009 AGM welcomed over 100 guests to view displays and meet the design team of the Vancouver Island and Coast Visitor Centre. Attendees enjoyed a talk by Michael Campbell, renowned BC economist, followed with a reception sponsored by Westcoast Air. The event also saw CVEDS and the community's Olympic team presented with the Economic Development Association of BC's Marketing Project of the Year Award for the 'Comox Valley Olympic Legacy Development'.
