Northwest Coast art is the most collectible First Nations art in the world, and Southern British Columbia is the centre of that activity. Native artists are now among the most recognized, collected and appreciated of all Canadian artists.
Opened in 1995, the I-Hos Gallery has built a reputation as a retailer of high quality West Coast First Nations art. I-Hos Gallery is a 100% owned and operated by the K'ómoks First Nation. The I-Hos Gallery presents a collection of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast artwork, masks, prints, gold and silver jewellery, wood carvings, textiles and clothing produced by First Nations artists.
The gallery continues to promote and support many talented artists from Vancouver Island and British Columbia. Retail sales are supplemented through the addition of a website where customers can browse at thier convenience and purchase electronically.
