Labour Force Development
The Comox Valley Economic Development Society (CVEDS) coordinated an exciting labour force project in partnership with Service Canada during 2008-09 in order to assist local employers to address their human resource issues by creating local industry specific human resource planning templates. These toolkits aid employers in hiring, retaining, and attracting employees. As well, a series of workshops were offered to introduce, promote, and monitor the use of these templates.
